Our sweet baby boy, Zayd Matthew Peterson, gained his angel wings on February 21, 2021. Zayd was born on February 21, 2021 to his parents, Terrence Peterson and Kenosha Holland in Rockford, IL. Although his time here on earth was brief, he made a lasting impact on those who were able to meet him. Zayd was loved beyond words. He was his mommy's precious boy and him and his daddy were ready to conquer the world. He will never be forgotten, and he will always be loved.

Zayd will be dearly missed by his parents; his grandmother, Chandra Peterson; his aunt, Jerri Williams and her daughter, Cali Williams; his uncle, Asti (Kassandra) Williams; uncle, Jahmani Muhammad; his aunt, Jonea Dalberg, his uncle, Shane Dalberg; his aunt, Bella Campbell; his uncles, Taz and Pryde Campbell; his aunt, Serenity Mack; and his numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his infant sibling; his grandmother, Laurie Dalberg; grandfathers, Damon Elswick and Jerry Williams; and his great-grandmother, Nancy Peterson.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial gathering will be from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 5, 2021 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W.
