Yvette L. O'Hara, 48, of Rockford, died Monday, September 26, 2011 in her home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. Yvette was born in Rockford on June 7, 1963, the daughter of Paul and Donna (Lamm) Olszewski. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School Class of 1981 and of MacMurray College with a B.A. in Social work. Yvette was the former Social Services and Activities Director at Wesley Willows. She married her high school sweetheart, Jeffrey L. O'Hara in Rockford on February 17, 1990.She was a loving wife and mother who home schooled her children through High School. She enjoyed the outdoors and hot weather. Her family was her life. Yvette attended Faith Center. She is survived by her husband, three children, Jessica, Josh, and Julia all of Rockford; her parents, Paul and Donna Olszewski, of Rockford; her twin sister, Yvonne (Jeff) Anderson; a sister, Denise (Wendell) Webb; a brother Kevin Olszewski; a niece, Nikki Webb; eight nephews, Cory Webb; Jonny and Matt Anderson; Joey, Johnny, Jimmy, Jaycob, and Jack O'Hara.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in her name.
