Winifred "Wini" L. Tucker, 95, of Des Planes, IL passed away peacefully, Monday, January 28,2019 at Valley Hi Nursing and Rehab in Woodstock, IL. She was born to Fred and Theresa (Rosenberg) on April 24, 1923 in St. Paul, MN. Wini proudly served her country in the United States Navy and graduated from the University of Minnesota. Wini opened the Woodfield Ford and then left to go to Kankakee. She worked there for many years but ended up returning to Woodfield Ford. She retired from there after many faithful years. Wini loved gardening, working in the yard, watching sports and reading the newspaper. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is loved and missed by her niece, Patricia (Frank) Troje; niece-in-law, Louise Tucker; great- nieces and nephews, Tamara Chlan, Tim Troje, Lynne Tucker, Brian Tucker; special friends, Joan (Dean) Condell, Mary Ann (Gary) Smith, Renee Swanson, Josey Latzko and Debbie Hemstock. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, James Tucker; nephew, Michael James Tucker and close friend, Phyllis Ravie.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 4,
2019 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave. Belvidere,
IL with Rev. Dough Carroll officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until
the time of service. Burial in Acacia Park Cemetery. Memorials to the Paralyzed
