Winefred H. Reynolds, 73, of Rockford, died Thursday, April 15, 2010 in her home following a courageous battle with cancer. Born November 10, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of William and Antoinette (Schneller) Johnstone. She has lived in the Rockford area for the past 30 years, coming here from Mt. Prospect, Illinois. Winnie married Thomas A. Reynolds in Belvidere, Illinois on May 24, 1986. She was employed as a clerk for Tuggle's Orchid Dry Cleaners. Winnie was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Belvidere. She enjoyed making memories with friends, family and especially with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, puzzles and shopping with her girls. Winnie is survived by her husband, Tom, of Rockford; three daughters, Jill (Arthur, III) Reichel, Hillside, Illinois, Cindy (Tim) Tolliver, Floyd, Iowa, Karen (Tim) Kudzma, Rockford, Illinois; two step-sons, Mark (Rachel) Reynolds, El Paso, Texas, Jim (Amber) Reynolds, Albuquerque, New Mexico; four grandchildren, Ryan and Jared Tolliver and Rebecca and Sarah Reynolds. Ten sisters, Billie Ramey, Wendie Purvis, Barbara (Chuck) Graham, Virginia Degner, Geraldine (John) Krakowski, Donna Quilico, Cheryl Johnstone, Peggy Rocco, Deanna (Jim) Johnstone-Gonzales, Phyllis (Edward) Crowley; two brothers, Edward (Linda) Johnsone and Brian (Kim) Johnstone, and a sister-in-law, Mary Fran Johnstone. Winne was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, William Johnstone and three brother-in-laws, Ray Ramey, James Degner and Nick Rocco.
