Wilma Rose "Billie" Ramey, 80, of Belvidere, IL and Poplar Grove, ILL died Friday afternoon, May 2, 2014 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center with her loving family at her side.  Billie was born October 9, 1933 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Antoinette.  She married Milton C. Ramey in 1954; he preceded her in death in 1972.  Billie was a restaurateur in Belvidere for many years.  She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and lived out her faith in the way she loved and cared for people.  Billie helped anybody, anytime, anywhere by feeding, offering a place to stay, or simply giving honest feedback.  Billie also cared deeply for animals -  rescuing and caring for many over her lifetime.

Wilma is loved and will be missed by her daughter, Nayna; siblings, Wendy Purvis, Barbara Graham, Virginia Degner, Gerry Krakowski, Edward Johnstone, Sheryl Johnstone, Peggy Rocco, Deanna Johnstone, Phyllis Crowley, Brian Johnstone; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.  Wilma is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Winnie and brother, Willie.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2014 in Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services at Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Chapel, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL with Rev. Allan Buss, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church officiating.  Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Bethania Cemetery, 7701 Archer Rd., Justice, IL at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.  Memorials can be given to a No Kill Animal Shelter of your choice in Wilma's name.  To light a candle or to share a memory, please visit www.AndersonFCS.com
