Belvidere, ILWilliam R. Wesley, 69, of Belvidere, IL and formerly of Elk Grove Village, IL,died peacefully, Friday, April 13, 2012 in his home after a lingering illness. William was born 1942 in Chicago, IL the son of William R. and Lillian M (Gross) Wesley, Sr. He married Joan Kranz on 1962 in Melrose Park, IL. William was an associate engineer for Knowles Electronics of Itasca, IL and a graduate of Devry Institute. He was a former member of First Congregational Church in Des Plaines, IL.William is loved and will be missed by his wife Joan of Belvidere; children William E. Wesley of California, Debra (Scott) Frost of West Chicago, IL, Robert (Elizabeth) Wesley of Belvidere, IL; grandchildren Crystal and Heather Collins of South Dakota, Daniel and Kevin Eckler of West Chicago, IL, Scott and Andrew Wesley of Belvidere; great-grandchildren Reilly Shull and Kayden Collins; sisters Joanne (George) Peters of Des Plaines, Naomi (Duwayne) Butenschoen of Des Plaines, Dorothy (Paul) Carlson of Lake in the Hills; many nieces and nephews.William is predeceased by his parents. The fmaily acknowedges the love and care given by Hospice Care of America.
