William L. Kerchner, 89, of Belvidere, IL passed away, July 18, 2021. Bill was born July 24, 1931 to John and Faith Kerchner. He married the love of his life, Joan Klinefelter on March 8, 1953. Bill was a farmer and worked at Cam Car, PAG, Garden Prairie Grain and the Belvidere Park District. Bill was a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose 295, Boone County Farm Bureau and Northern Illinois Vintage Tractor and Engine Association. He will be missed by all.

Bill is loved and missed by his wife, Joan; children, Rebecca St. John, Brenda (Brian) Witte; 8 grandchildren; siblings, Linda (Albert) Ebel III, Joanne (Joseph) Fielding, Robert (Cheri) Kerchner; brother-in-law, Alan (Mary) Klinefelter; sister-in-law, Dawn Byrd as well as 3 nieces and 2 nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, John; mother, Faith and sons, David and Steven.

The visitation will take place from 3:00-6:00 p.m., Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL 61008. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 23, 2021 at Belvidere Cemetery, 1121 N. Main Street, Belvidere, IL. Memorials to the family to establish later.
