William Jackson, 66, of Belvidere passed away peacefully Saturday morning, October 10, 2015 surround by his loving family. William was born November 21, 1948 in Mollis, KY, son of George Sr. and Betty Jackson. He was a machine operator for Union Special in Huntly, IL. William enjoyed praising the Lord, spending time with his grandchildren and family, coin collecting, and cherished watching Matthew play football.

William is loved and will be missed by his children, Michelle (John) Connell, Matthew W. Jackson, Melissa (Jeff) Honea; brothers, Franklin (Shari) Jackson, Henry Clay (Maryann) Jackson; Sister, Jerlene Jones; grandchildren, Matthew C. Jackson, Ryan Connell, William Connell and Emma Jackson. William is predeceased by his parents; brother, George R. Jackson Jr.; brother-in-law, Everett Jones; niece, Lisa Kay Jackson.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services at Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Chapel, 218 W. Hurlbut Avenue, Belvidere, IL. A second Visitation will take place 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, October 16,at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home, 114 South Third Street, Harlan, KY,  a committal service will follow the visitation Saturday at Park Howard Cemetery, Wallins Creek, KY.  In Lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family.
