Belvidere, IllinoisWilliam H. Dague, 89, of Belvidere, IL died Sunday evening, April 4, 2010 in Rosewood Care Center after a lingering illness. William was born April 21, 1920 in Boone County, IL the son of Ross and Lillian (Lester) Dague. He married June Pauly in 1946 in Aurora, Illinois and then Martha (Summers) Marshallsay in Rockton in 1986. William was a former owner with his brother, Ballard, of Dague Decorators retiring in 1969. He also was a sales rep for Allis Chalmers and DuPont. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Belvidere Lodge #295; a fifty plus year member of the Belvidere Masonic Lodge #60 A.F.A.M., the Royal Arch Masons and Freeport Consistory. William was a World War II veteran serving in the Army's 80th Armored Division.Survivors include his wife, Martha; children, Diane (James) Kuntzelman of Kenosha, WI, Susan (Paul) Hennessey of Oakland, Ca, and David (Wendy) Dague of Vancouver, BC; three grandchildren; step children, Richard (Roxanne) Marshallsay and Nancy (Gary) Ackerman both of Roscoe. William is predeceased by his parents and brothers, Ballard and Robert.
A memorial will be established with the Keen-Age Center in his name.
