William Harvey "Bill" Garrett, 69 of Belvidere, IL, formerly of Glendale Heights, IL passed away January 28, 2017.  Born July 29, 1947 in Chicago, IL, he is preceded in death by his father Harvey.

He is survived by his mother, Marie; brothers, Chuck (Kathy), Dave (Jeannie), as well as an Uncle, Aunts, Nieces and Nephews.

Bill spent over 30 years working at Spraying Systems where he retired from. He was an avid War Gamer for many years, collector of movies, and history buff.  Bill loved his family dearly.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 3, 2017 at St. James Catholic Church, 402 Church St., Belvidere, IL with Rev. Brian Geary officiating. There will be a chapel service at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, 1S510 Winfield Rd., Wheaton, IL, at approximately 1:45 p.m. A visitation will be held from 4:00p.m. until 9:00p.m., Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Anderson Funeral & Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the St. Vincent's DePaul Society of Saint James, Belvidere.
