William H. "Bill" Casey, 74, of Rockford, died May 20, 2013 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born August 1, 1938 in Rockford, son of William Daniel and Alice (Crawford) Casey. Married Herta Wunsche in 1960 in Germany. Served in the US Army and worked as a machinist for 126 Transportation Company. He was a member of the VFW, the American Legion, and the Moose in Belvidere, as well as Pheasants Forever and Sheriff's Patrol. Survived by his loving wife Herta; daughter Donna Casey of Milwaukee; son Robert (Misty) Casey of Lyndon, IL; grandchildren James and Lydia Casey; 1 great-grandson; sister Lila Volhken of Michigan; several nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, son Billy Casey, and sister Mona Thornton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the John Hugo Kasier VFW in memory of Bill's son Billy Casey.
