Wendy Christine Jewell, 55, of Belvidere, IL passed away, December 1, 2018 at Swedish American hospital in Belvidere, IL. She was born March 29, 1963 in Arlington Heights, IL, the daughter of David W. and Bonita DeLong. Wendy was a college graduate receiving two bachelor degrees in CIS and Finance. Wendy married Brian Jewell on April 1, 2006 in Gatlinburg, TN. She worked for Experian for 17 years as a database analyst. Wendy was a collector of Teddy Bears, and owned many Thomas Kinkade paintings. She loved to Travel and take cruises with Brian and loved the Christmas season. Wendy is going to be missed deeply by all who knew her.

She is loved and missed by her husband, Brian; parents, David, Bonita; step-children, Justin (Amy) Willis, Krystylyn (Stephen) Richards, Melody Richards; granddaughter, Brianna; brother David (Debbie) DeLong; grandmother, Doris DeLong; uncles, Jonathan (Regina) DeLong, Robert (Linda) Rompala as well as four cousins.  Wendy is preceded in death by her grandmother, Genevieve; aunt and uncle Joann (George) Jaskowiak.
