Wendell H. Lampert, 65, of Belvidere, died Sunday, October 9, 2005 in O.S.F. St. Anthony Medical Center after a sudden illness. Born August 17, 1940 in Garden Prairie, Illinois, the son of Harold and Grace Lampert. Wendell was a Union Carpenter. He was a Veteran serving in the Navy from 1958 to 1961. He loved woodworking, gardening, camping and the great outdoors. Survivors include his significant other, Nancy Taylor, Step-daughter, Jamie (Jon) Cordez; Step-son, Jason (Tracy) Morse; grandson, Jayden Cordez; Sister, Anita Wennmacher; 2 brothers, David (Sandy) Lampert and Foster (Judi) Lampert; plus numerous nieces and nephews.
