Poplar Grove, IllinoisWayne Robinson, 76, of Poplar Grove, Illinois entered into heaven, Monday evening, July 2, 2007, after a long battle with lung cancer, but will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Wayne was born November 8, 1930 to Duett and Nettie ((Erbentraut) Robinson of Capron. He married Blanche Louella Glendenning on July 23, 1950 in Genoa, IL. Wayne dedicated his life to farming and raising a family in a community that he so loved. He will be remembered for his laughter and cheerful smile along with his devotion to Christ and his family. Wayne was a member of Poplar Grove United Methodist Church and the Boone County Farm Bureau. Survivors include his children, Michael (Cindee) Robinson of Belvidere, Lisa (Jack) Tapp of Lexington, N.C.; grandchildren, Jennee, Jon, Justin, Kevin, Jacob; great grandchildren, Nathan, Madelynn; sister, Virginia (Virgil) Teslow of Roscoe; brother, Roy (Shirley) Robinson of Sheldon, MO; numerous nieces and nephews. Wayne was predeceased by his parents, Blanche his wife, who was his life long love; sister, Etta; brothers, Donald, George, Fay and Burt.
