Wayne R. Hauptly

1955-2020

On January 31, 2020, Wayne Hauptly, loving fiancé, brother, uncle,
and friend passed away at age 64.

Wayne was born on February 8, 1955 in Elgin, IL to Dale and
Dorothy Hauptly. He graduated from Larkin High School in "73." He worked at Shakeproof
for 14 years and then Elgin School District U-46, in Elgin, for 26 years as a
custodian,

Wayne loved to be outdoors. He liked fishing, camping,
listening to country music, and working on his lawn and vehicles. He enjoyed
taking trips to Dunkerton, Iowa to visit aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Wayne will be dearly missed by his fiancé, Jan Hinz; twin
sister, Wanda (Ken) Factly; nephew, Tony Factly; sister, Sharon HAuptly; and
many cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, Dale, and his mother,
Dorothy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Wayne's name may be gifted to the family (Jan Hinz) to establish a memorial at a later date.

There will be no burial. A luncheon, celebrating Wayne's life,
will be at the VFW Post 1461, 1310 W. Lincoln Ave., Belvidere, IL, 61008, on
February 29, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
