Wanda Fay Nelson, "Faye", died March 2, 2022. Born September 2, 1938 in Maytown, Kentucky to James and Edith (Vicars) Case. On July 30th, 1955 she married Joseph H.E. Nelson in Belvidere and together they raised three children; Peggy, Pamela and Joseph.

Faye is survived by two children, Peggy and Pamela; siblings, Bob (Flori) Case, Thelma Palmer and Nancy (James) Wright and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe; son, Joey; siblings, Ed, Fran, Eugene and Ralph.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on March 9th, 2022 in Highland Garden of Memories, Belvidere, IL with her niece, Pastor Melissa Powers officiating. Memorials may be made to Faye's family.
