Belvidere, ILWalter A. Raymond, Jr., 64 of Belvidere, IL died suddenly, Saturday, January 4, 2014 in his home after a sudden illness. Wally was born April 9, 1949 in Chicago, IL the son of Walter A and LaVerne L. (Shalk) Raymond, Sr. He married Lucille B. Brown on November 13, 1992 in Chicago. Prior to retirement, Wally worked for Ford Parts Depot in Melrose Park for 31 years. He was a member of the UAW and enjoyed supporting various charities; talking politics and religion and watching Fox News, MSNBC and CNN. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Wally is loved and will be missed by his wife, Lucille; mother, LaVerne Rauch of Belvidere; daughters Jacqueline A. Pollack of Belvidere, Rebekah S. (William) Guynn of Waterford, WI; stepdaughters Theresa (Martin) Brownlee of Valparaiso, IN, Renarda (Dwayne) Walker of Ypsilanti, MI, Yvette (August) Easley of Chicago, Nicole Brown of Pontiac, MI; step-son Antonio (Sherly) Bullette of Fayetteville, NC; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.; brother, Russell Rauch of Belvidere. Wally is preceded in death by his father, Walter and grandparents.

Memorials can be given in care of Pacific Garden Mission or the Appalachian Children.
