Belvidere, ILWalter H. Goltermann, 92, of Belvidere, IL died peacefully, July 11, 2012 in Northwoods Care Center after a lingering illness. Walter was born September 26, 1919 in York Center, IL the son of Ferdinand and Anna (Johnsen) Goltermann. Walter was a farmer for 40 years retiring in 1984. He married Helene Millies in 1945 and following her death he married Selma Coplien Heitz in 1968. Walter was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where he held various church offices. Walter is survived by nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, both wives; daughters Linda and Ann; sisters Lydia, Gertrude, Edna, Alma and Clara.
