Vivian Helsdon, 96 years, born April 21, 1912 – daughter of Fred Schult and Mabel (Uting) Schult. Educated in Belvidere schools. She was a life long member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was a member of the church's Ladies Guild and Over 60 Club. She taught pre-school classes in her home for 17 years.On June 25, 1931 she married Franklin Roberts (who preceded her in death in 1959) in Belvidere. One daughter of this union, Joanne, passed away in May, 2000. Other loved ones who preceded her in death include her parents, three brothers (Albert, Arnold and Erwin), three sisters (Clara Klaas, Mae Schuett and Theresa Bleakley) and one stepson (Ronald Helsdon). She is survived by two step-daughters, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given in care of the American Diabetes Association or Helping Hands of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
