Vivian Curry, 92, of Belvidere, IL, passed away peacefully in her home, Sunday, July 17, 2022, surrounded by her family. Vivian was born August 20, 1929, the daughter of Fred and Eleanore (Krause) Schauer.

Vivian was a loving mother and wife. She was a member of the fidelity circle and the garden club. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed crocheting and jigsaw puzzles.

Vivian is loved and will be missed by her daughter, Sherri (James) Nimtz; her son, Gary (Rhonda) Curry; her grandchildren, Kim Wegner, Lorri (Bill) Patrick, Deserae (Ed) Brandon, Travis (Tabbitha) Johnston, Jenny (Mark) Tillema, Melinda (Brian) Smith, Kris (Ashley) Gay, Ryan (Liz) Curry. As well as numerous great- grandchildren.

Vivian is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Curry; her parents; her daughter, Lori; her brothers, Harold Schauer and Gerald Schauer, and her sister, Marion Nimtz.

Vivian's memorial visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Anderson Funeral and Cremations Services, located at 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008. Burial is private.
