Virginia G. Legaspi, 57, of Loves Park, Ill. died Sunday, February 3, 2008 in O.S.F. St. Anthony Medical Center following a sudden illness. Born March 23, 1950 in Bacolod, Philippines. The daughter of Horació and Concepcioñ (Bigot) Gonzaga. She enjoyed singing, cooking, dancing, playing bingo and mahjong, and collecting many things. But most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by five children, Mary Ann (Michael) Culver, Loves Park, Ill.; Hermie (Brenda) Legaspi, Poplar Grove, Ill.; Richard Legaspi, Loves Park, Ill.; Mary Jane (Dan) Mamparo, Montgomery, Ill.; Mary Hope (Tommy) Davis, Oxnard, Cal.; eleven grandchildren, Kristofer, A.J. Tristen, Brock, Brody, Brooke, Matthew, Joshua, Angel, Jordan and Jenna; The father of her children, Hermen (Dawn) Legaspi; her father, Horació; three sisters, Carmina (SenLin) Garver; Jamima Gonzaga; Charito Francisco. She is preceded in death by her mother.
