Virginia A. (Eickstedt) Inman, 86, of Belvidere, IL died Saturday, November 23, 2013 surrounded by her family, after a long illness. Virginia was born March 30, 1927 in Marengo, IL the daughter of Alfred and Alma (Cassier) Eickstedt. She married Richard Inman on July 2, 1948 in Marengo. She loved to crochet, work crossword and jigsaw puzzles and made the best pies and cookies.Virginia is loved and will be missed by her son Mark (Sue) Inman of Belvidere; daughters Wendy Ball of Belvidere, Ginny (Frank) Johnson of Genoa, IL; three grandchildren Kurt (Julie) ball of Michigan, Chad Ball and Jennifer Ball of Belvidere; two great-grandsons, Christian and Jeremy Ball of Michigan; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1991; sister Elaine Mistretta; brother Earl Eickstedt; brothers in-law and sisters in-law.Special thanks to the Alzheimers Unit at Alden Park Strathmoor and Family Home Health Services for their great care of our mother.Private Graveside services will be held at Belvidere Cemetery.
