Virginia M. "Ginger" Kolsch, 59, of Belvidere, IL, formerly of Crystal Lake, IL passed away peacefully, Monday morning, May 4, 2015. She was born on May 20, 1955 in Berwyn, IL, daughter of Sylvester and Dorothy (Wolak) Wasz. Ginger graduated from high school and went on to become a legal secretary for a law firm in downtown Chicago. She married Gene W. Kolsch on April 10, 1988 in Hinsdale, IL. She was a member of 7th Day Adventist Church in Rockford, IL. Ginger enjoyed cooking, baking and sewing. She also liked gardening.

She is loved and will be missed by her husband, Gene; mother, Dorothy Wasz; siblings, Joseph (Ceil) Wasz, Constance (Bill) Mally, David (Gabi) Wasz, Shirley Wasz; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Sylvester.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 P.M., Friday, May 8, 2015 at 7th Day Adventist Church, 325 N. Alpine Rd, Rockford, IL 61107 with Pastor Jon Larssen officiating.
