Virginia M. Blomberg, 87, of Belvidere, IL, passed away on January 31, 2024. She was a deeply devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Virginia was born on February 3, 1936. The daughter of Alice and William Frandsen.

Virginia was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church and had strong faith. She loved gardening and spending time in nature. On August 5th, 1957 she married the love of her life, Marshall, and together they shared 3 children and 63 years of marriage. The two are now reunited with the Lord.

She is survived by three children, Dan, Dave, Sara  and grandchildren Branden and Madison. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends whom she loved dearly.

She is predeceased by her husband, Marshall Blomberg and her parents.

There will be a celebration of life memorial service commemorating Marshall and Virginia on Friday, March 1, at 11am at Anderson Funeral Home. Located at 218 W. Hurlbut Ave. Belvidere, IL 61008. Visitation at 10am until the time of service.
