Vincenza "Vera" B. Garraffo, 86, of Belvidere, died March 6, 2010 in Swedish American Hospital. Born January 16, 1924 to Leonard and Maria (Vincuggera) Bernardo in New York. Married John Garraffo July 12, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY. He died in April 1996. Vincenza worked for the Phillips Corporation.Survivors include daughter Geraldine (Jeffrey) Gerlach of Belvidere and son Frank Garraffo of Waterbury, Conn.; grandchildren Brian Garraffo of Waterbury, Conn., Christopher Gerlach of Council Bluffs, IA, and Kimberly (Shane) Wilks of Belvidere, and great-grandson Tristan Wilks. Predeceased by her parents and brother Angelo Bernardo.
