Vicky was born in Cuba, and came to America at the age of 15. Later in life she met and married the love of her life, James "Jim" Diss. They loved flying, travel and spending quality time with one another. She obtained her pilot's license herself, but generally preferred to be the passenger.

Vicky worked many years for Baxter Pharmaceuticals. She oversaw quality control for Baxter vendors in South America and around the world.

Upon Jim's passing, Vicky became a member of the "Solo Group" which was a group of area widows who supported and uplifted one another in the community . Vicky was also a member of the Boeing Babes, a group of her closest neighborhood friends.

She enjoyed gardening and loved her pet cats. She was a woman devoted to serving others. She will be missed by many.

She is predeceased by her husband James Diss, parents, Jorge Alberto and Maria Teresa "Cusa" Fleites, brother, Alberto Lazaro Fleites, and her nephew, Alberto Eduardo Flietes.

Vicky is survived by her sister, Helena Luisa- Del Rosario Fleites, 3 step children, Ben, Barbera and Rebecca Diss and nieces, Elena, Alina, and Ayme Fleites.
