Vern C. Roush, Jr., 57, of Belvidere, IL died suddenly, October 5, 2021, in Belvidere. He was born November 22, 1963, in Belvidere, son to Vernon C. Roush, Sr. and Nancy Adamson. Vern graduated high school, joined the Marines and worked as a Signal Maintainer for CP Railroad for many years. He married his sweetheart, Toby Weiner, August 25, 2012, at St. Johns Church in Belvidere. Vern loved to ride motorcycles, work on his yard and especially adored his grandkids and family.

Vern is loved and will be missed by his wife, Toby; mom and stepdad, Nancy and Wayne; daughter, Renae (Anthony) Roush; stepdaughter, Nicole (Alex) Keil; Stepsons, Michael (Dawn) Stokes and Brandon Dean; brothers, Michael (Colleen) Roush and Aaron Roush; grandkids, Denver, Skylynn, Phoenix, Degan, Brian and Hailey; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Vernon Sr.; maternal grandparents, John and Alice Adamson; and paternal grandparents, Chester and Marion Roush.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 16, 2021, at St. John's Church on Main Street in Belvidere. Refreshments will be provided after the service. In Vern's honor and memory, memorial contributions can be made in care of the family.
