Valorie B. Bauman, 96, of Caledonia, IL, passed away suddenly, Saturday, December 9, 2017 after a sudden illness. She was born September 13, 1921 in Houston, Texas, the daughter of Robert and Ara (Cooper) Keeler. Valorie married Alvin C. Bauman on June 29, 1940 in Dubuque, IA. She was a homemaker, who adored her family and loved having them come to visit and play games. She was a snowbird, who enjoyed going south for the winter.

Valorie is loved and missed by her children, Duane Bauman, Darlene (Robert) Jones, and Karen Snider; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Alvin, sisters, Robby L. Meyers, and Gladys M. Rader; grandson, Christopher Hawver; and great-granddaughter, Rebecca Oliphant.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 15, 2017 at McHenry County Memorial Park Chapel, 11301 Lake Street, Woodstock, IL 60098. Burial in McHenry County Memorial Park.
