Trudy Ann Flippo, 63, of Belvidere, IL, died peacefully May 25, 2022 at PA Peterson in Rockford, IL. She was born September 28, 1958, in Belvidere at St. Joseph Hospital, daughter of Matt and Coralyn (Luce) Ohlsen. She graduated high school and married Jeff Flippo, December 11, 1976, at the Church By The Side Of The Road in Rockton, IL. They were married for 45 years! She was a business owner of a gas station for 7 years, worked at Warner Electric in Marengo, IL and J&D Oil in Belvidere. Trudy was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Belvidere. Her interests include camping and reading especially with her Kindle. She created "Diamond Art" made with materials from her niece's business in Belvidere. She had many dogs throughout her lifetime, cherishing each and every fur baby with her husband, Jeff. She was loved.

Trudy is loved and will be missed by her husband, Jeff Flippo; sister in-laws, Nora Ohlsen, Pauline Ohlsen, Jan Heath and Nancy Goetz; and two brothers, Larry and Wayne Ohlsen; and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and father and mother in-law, Joe and Edna Flippo.

A visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL 61008. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Rev. Braun Campbell will officiate. Burial at Highland Garden of Memories. In her honor, memorials to the family.
