Trisha L. McCollom, 33, of Peoria, IL, passed away June 4, 2015 in OSF Saint Francis Hospital in Peoria, IL. Trisha was born December 31, 1981 in Rockford, IL, daughter of Michael and Diane (Tripp) McCollom. Trisha graduated from Belvidere High School, Class of 2000, and went on to get her Bachelor's Degree from Northern IL University. She was employed as a Child Life Specialist at Center for Prevention of Abuse, where she was very passionate about her job and the people whose lives she touched. Trisha had a strong love for helping people. She adored her niece and nephews.

Trisha is loved and will be missed by her mother, Diane McCollom; brothers, Chris (Karen) McCollom, Steven (Angela) McCollom, and family; the lights of her life, Ryan and Reese Schoon, and Dylan McCollom, uncle, Terry (Kelly) Tripp; cousins, Jeff Kizer, and Andrea and Alex Tripp; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Trisha is preceded in death by her father, Michael; grandparents, David and Marlyn Tripp and Herbert and Lorene McCollom, several aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008. A picnic will take place after at Belvidere Park-Kiddie land pavilion off Lincoln Ave. Memorials may be given to the Center for Prevention of Abuse, 720 W. Joan Court, Peoria, IL 61614.
