Tracy Don Fildes, 49, of Stillman Valley, died in his home on Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Born March 12, 1962 in Rapid City, SD, son of Leslie and Carolyn (Reib) Fildes. Married Loretta Adams on June 8, 2001 in Belvidere. Worked as an automotive technician and for Snap-On Tools so he could buy more tools for himself to further his automotive career. He enjoyed racing cars. Sponsored many people through AA and counseled peopled with mental illness and addictions. He had the biggest heart of anyone, had a sense of humor not to be matched. To know him was to love him. Tracy was a part of the Valley Covenant Church community.Survivors include his wife Loretta, daughter Katrina (Lukas) Blackmer of Belvidere with one grandchild on the way, son Trevor of Sycamore, father Les of Belvidere, step-daughter Sarah Branstad with granddaughters Isabelle and Abrianna, step-son Neil (Anita) Branstad, sisters Cherise (Steve) Sherwin of Sarasota, FL, Patti (Bernie) Kargol of Lacon, IL, and brother Dale of Rockford. Predeceased by his mother Carrie and brother Roy.
