Thomas D. "Dave" Griffin, 60 of Belvidere, formerly of Glen Ellyn, Ill. died Wednesday, February 15, 2006 in O>S.F. St. Anthony Medical Center following a long illness. Born November 8, 1945 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the son of James and Evelyn (Odom) Griffin. Married to Donna D. Mills in Palos Heights, Ill. on December 28, 1968. Employed as an Electrical Engineer by Sterling Engineering Co. in the designing of the Dresden and Byron Nuclear Plants owned by Com Ed. Member of First United Methodist Church and was a former Semi-Pro Football Coach for various teams. Dave is survived by Wife, Donna,; daughter, Melynda; two sons, Thomas, Jr.; and Timothy Griffin, all of Belvidere; two grandchildren, Devin and Reilly Griffin; a niece, Karen Lepitere; six nephews, Michael and John Griffin; Peter and Joel Mills; Brian and Michael Young. Predeceased by parents, sister, Janice and brother Jack Griffin; nephew Kenny Topolski.
