Thomas E. Doty, 59, of Belvidere, died Thursday, April 14, 2005 in his home following a sudden illness. He was born February 17, 1946 in Woodstock, Illinois. The son of Everett S. and Lucille (Mengs) Doty. He has lived in Belvidere for 19 years, coming here from Woodstock. Tom married Deanna Eucker in Woodstock on February 17, 1987. Employed as a Security Officer by Sunstrand for 11 years. He served the Air Force from 1967 to 1972 during the Vietnam era. Tom graduated from Woodstock High School. He is survived by his wife, Deanna of Belvidere; Brother, Jerome (Suzanne) Doty of Rockford; Mother-in-law and Father-in-law, Louise and Robert Eucker of Belvidere; 3 sister-in laws, Sharon (Bill) Kazort of Harvard; Jodi (John) Mead of Wisconsin; Trisha (John) Ploch of Davis Junction; Brother-in-law, Ron (Theresa) Eucker, Belvidere; several nieces and nephews and three cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
