Thomas Allen Detmer, 61, passed away, April 22, 2023. He was born on March 21, 1962, the son of Patricia and Donald G. Detmer Sr. Thomas was a dedicated Chicago Cubs and Bulls sports fan. He was an avid bowler. Thomas served the Rockford and Belvidere communities as a cook at various restaurants including The Golden Coin and The Clock Tower. He will be remembered for his hard working nature and loving heart.

He is survived by his sisters, Laura Maguire and Catherine (Ron) Bragg; niece, Ciera; and nephew, Casey.

He is welcomed into heaven by his parents, Donald G. Detmer Sr. and Patricia Detmer Fredriksen; brother, Donald G. Detmer Jr.; and his nephew, Ryan Maguire.

Tom's visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 2nd at Highland Garden of Memories' chapel. Located at 9800 IL-76, Belvidere, IL 61008. Committal to follow at 11 a.m.
