Thomas F. Denny, 69, of Belvidere, IL died peacefully Thursday morning, September 12, 2013 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center after a short illness. Tom was born January 11, 1944 in Eyota, Minnesota, the son of Floyd Thomas and Violet (Pahl) Denny. Tom retired from the Chrysler Corporation in 1997 where he was employed as an assembler. In Tom's spare time he enjoyed playing guitar, was a skilled mechanic who enjoyed restoring cars and Harley-Davidson motorcycles as well as being gifted in anything electrical. Tom served our country in the US Army.Tom is loved and will be missed by his son, Chad (Barbara) Denny of Sahuarita, AZ; step-grandson, Branden Volkman of Sahuarita, AZ; step-daughter Jessica (Jeramy) Sorenson of Broadhead, WI; brothers, LaVern "Coke" (MaryLou) Denny of Belvidere, Robert Denny and David Denny both of Swanville, MN; sister, Shirley (Loren) Hoffman of St. Paul, MN; numerous nieces and nephews. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Geraldine Denny.

Memorials can be given in care of Tom's family in lieu of flowers.
