Thomas W. Ashley, 22, of Belvidere, IL, passed away suddenly Friday, September 25, 2015 in Dixon, IL, from injuries sustained from an auto accident. Thomas was born July 1, 1993 in Rockford, IL, son of Kevin Ashley and Joan (Johnson) Ashley. He graduated from Belvidere North High School and went on to graduate from Rock Valley College with his Associate Degree of Arts. Thomas was employed by Liebovich Steel. He attended Maywood Church in Rockford, IL, he had just returned from a mission trip from Peru. Thomas was very involved with the Boy Scouts of America, where he was an Eagle Scout and a member of The Order of the Arrow. He had a great love for Star Wars, the Avengers, and Captain America.

Thomas is loved and will be missed by his father, Kevin Ashley; sister, Kira Ashley; mother, Joan Ashley; Angel Savitzky and family; uncle, Michael (Cyndi) Ashley; cousins, Kyle and Megan Ashley; maternal grandparents, Bruce and Rita Johnson. Thomas is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Byrdell Ashley, and aunts, Rhonda Ashley and Cheryl Hammond.

Visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W.
