Theresa "Tess" Sliwoski, 87, of Belvidere, passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 24, 2017 at Saint Anthony Medical Center, Rockford. She was born March 22, 1930 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of John and Teresa (Orlowski) Krawczykowski. Tess married John Sliwoski, the love of her life, on October 2, 1949. She was employed as a food service worker. Tess attended Saint James Catholic Church, Belvidere. She loved cooking, crafts, bingo, and recently took up drawing. Tess was a strong, compassionate, and friendly woman. She is loved dearly and her light will be missed.

Tess is survived by her two daughters, Susan Sliwoski and Gerry (John) Romano, grandson, Nicholas (Heather) Romano; and sister, Jean (Tony) Martello. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John and her brother, Edward Krawczykowski.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday May 5, 2018 at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1400 S. Wolf Road, Hillside, IL 60162. Deacon Sunny Annoreno will officiate. *Use the Roosevelt Road entrance.
