Thaddeus Joseph Kozielec, Jr., 61, of Belvidere, died peacefully surrounded by his family July 25, 2022, in Belvidere. He was born November 2, 1960, in Chicago, IL, son to Thaddeus J. Kozielec, Sr. and Dolores (Meiners) Kozielec. He graduated from Southern Illinois University and worked as a copier technician for many years at Gordon Flesch Company. He married his sweetheart, Debi Miller, May 7, 1992 in Geneva, IL. Thaddeus attended Christ The Rock Lutheran Church. He loved wild animals and volunteered with the Hoo Haven, taking care of owls, deer, and larger animals. His interests include fishing, hunting, and outdoors. He loved to travel often taking long road trips while site seeing.

Thaddeus is loved and will be missed by his wife, Debi; children, Nikki, Amy, Scott, Tyler, Amanda and Brandon Kozielec; grandchildren, Liam, Emily, Caiden, Jack, and Nova; sister, Pam (Wally); and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
