Terry Robert Trimble, 76, of Poplar Grove, IL, passed away peacefully March 3, 2023, in Belvidere, IL. He was born at home, April 29, 1946, in Jasper County, IL, son to Albert Franklin and Carmen Evaun (Weaver) Trimble. He graduated from Belvidere High School and joined the Army. He married his sweetheart, Linda (Jones) Trimble, November 27, 1965, in Poplar Grove, IL. Interests included hauling campers and traveling, especially traveling across the United States and Canada. He also enjoyed cruises with his wife, Linda. In his younger days, he loved camping, snowmobiling, and playing sports. He especially loved spending time with his family. He was a quiet man, but loved coming up with one-liners. He had a special whit about him. "Fat and Sassy!"

Terry was loved and will be missed by his children, Rob (Becca) Trimble, Melissa (Tim) Lein and Toni Lutzow; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and multiple aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda; siblings, Charles Trimble, Judy Trimble, Walter (Harriett) Trimble, Joanne (Melvin) Miller, Sarah (Ken) Holobaugh, Lillian (Harry) Danz and sister-in-law, Virginia Trimble.

A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, March 10, 2023, at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008. The service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial in Highland Garden of Memories Cemetery. Pastor Braun Campbell will officiate. Memorial contributions to the family in his honor.
