Tania Garibay, "Mi Chata", 9, of Belvidere, died Monday, June 7, 2010 in an accident. Born July 28, 2000 in Rockford, daughter of Jesus and Veronica (Cardenas) Garibay. Tania attended Seth-Whitman School, she enjoyed playing soccer for Real Sociedad and Rockford United, she also loved to ride her bike and play with her friends.Survivors include her parents Jesus and Veronica, brothers Inry and Eddy Garibay of Belvidere, paternal grandmother Angelina Garibay and maternal grandparents Margarito and Juanita Cardenas, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Jose Garibay.
