Poplar Grove, ILSuzanne Marie Lane, 53,of Rockton, Illinois died Tuesday evening, May 8, 2007 in her home after a valiant battle with cancer. Suzanne was born in Rockford on January 10, 1954. She married Daniel Richard Lane on February 20, 1971 in North Park Church of Christ. Suzanne and Dan farmed together for many years and she operated Lanes Country Market on IL Rt.173 for 26 years. Suzanne had a great sense for decorating. She enjoyed flower gardening, bird watching and was a faithful steward of God's creation. She loved her husband, children and grandchildren.Survivors include her husband, Dan; children, Lisa M. (Bryan) McCartney of Poplar Grove, Crystal A. (Brian) Mueller of Garden Prairie, Jeffrey R. Lane of Belvidere; grandchildren, Kyle, Riley, Mattison, Cole, Katelyn; special friend, Beth Johnson; brother, Tom (Bernadette) Chesak of Rockford; sister, Linda Parkins of Rockford; numerous nieces and nephews.Suzanne's family wishes to acknowledge the doctors, nurses and staff of Northern Illinois Hospice, Beloit Clinic and the University Hospital at Madison for the tender loving care given to Suzanne.

A memorial will be established in her name.
