Susan M. Siek passed February 12th, 2019 at the
age of 73. Susan will be remembered as a great lover. A lover of those who
surrounded her. A lover of animals. A lover of gardening. A lover of crafts (how
many of you have received her handmade cards?). A lover of life.

Susan was born February 8, 1946 to Walter and Clarice Siek.
Preceded in death by her former husband, Ron Yurek and her sister, Donna
Johnson. She is lovingly survived by her brother, Wayne Siek; children, Kim
Yurek, and Dan Yurek; grandson, Caden Scott; and numerous extended family. Special
thanks to Susan's church family and long time best friend, Debbie Schroeder,
who was there until the end.

Longtime resident of Bensenville, IL and later Caledonia,
IL, Susan was active (often leading) in school, church, and community affairs,
including her service as Caldeonia Village President. She was active at Caledonia
Congregational Church, which helped galvanize her into the faith-filled, strong
woman she was.

Her faith in God, along with some help from Pastor Gary, Gave her comfort and hope in times of need. Susan was "all-in" what she believed in…from selflessly helping others to constantly working to improve herself. All are invited to her visitation on Monday, February 18th, 2019 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Please join us in celebrating this remarkable woman at her memorial service on Saturday, February 23rd, 2019 at Caledonia Congregational Church, 14730 Oak Street, Caledonia, IL 61011, at 11:00 a.m.
