Susan M. Shearrer, 51, of Cedarville, Ill. died Thursday, December 18, 2008 in her home following a sudden illness. Born June 20, 1957 in Elgin, Ill., the daughter of Richard and Margie (Norris) Perry, Sr. Susan has been a resident of Cedarville for the past year, coming here from Salem, Missouri. She was married to Michael Shearrer. He preceded her in death in 2001. She was employed as a Caregiver for a hospice organization in Missouri. Susan graduated from Irving-Crown High School, Carpentersville, Ill. Class of 1976. She is survived by her six siblings, Richard (Debbie) Perry, Jr., Rockford, Ill.; Phyllis (Chuck) Maggard, Loves Park, Ill.; Bill (Lori) Perry, Belvidere, Ill.; Jimmy (Lou) Perry, West Virginia; Chuck Perry, Belvidere, Ill.; Kathy (Terry) Gieshert, Rockford, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents.
