Susan Lorraine Humphry, 63, of Belvidere, IL died peacefully February 11, 2022, in Rockford. She was born December 7, 1958, in Rockford, IL to Lloyd Paul and Bernice (Lenius) McFadden. She married the love of her life, Bradley Humphry, on October 8, 1988. Susan enjoyed quilting and working in her garden, but her favorite pastime was playing the card game Pennies with her family. Though she never thought that she was much of a cook, her family feels otherwise. Especially her prime rib on New Year's Eve.

She will be dearly missed by her husband, Brad; her two sons, William (Whitney) and Jeffrey Humphry; granddaughters, Kaitlyn Shere and Olivia Humphry; sisters, Sharon (Chuck) Wallace and Nancy (Ronald) Herber; brothers, Roger (Rachel) and David McFadden; mother-in-law, Sandra Parker; stepmother- in-law, Marlene Humphry; brother- in-laws, Todd (Jan) Humphry, Rob (Shanyn) Humphry and Corey (Misty) Humphry; and several nieces and nephews.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gary McFadden; sister, Mary Strawbridge; father- in-law, Stephen Humphry; and stepfather-in-law, Curley Parker.

The funeral service for Susan will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday February 18, 2022, at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL with the Rev. Alex Marque of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church officiating. Burial in Belvidere Cemetery. The visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
