Steven A. Boose, 63, of Belvidere, IL died peacefully, Tuesday evening, August 19, 2014 in Swedish American Hospital, Rockford, after a short illness. Steven was born November 3, 1951 in Waterloo, Iowa the son of Milton F. and Delores M. (Ruiz) Boose.  He was a veteran of the US Marine Corp. where he was a Helicopter Crew Chief.  Most recently, Steven worked for the Belvidere Park District and previously worked for HydroLine Manufacturing, Nissan Fork Lift and Apache Foam.  Steven enjoyed repairing anything mechanical.

Steven is loved and will be missed by his brothers, Anthony (Carol) Boose of Poplar Grove, David (Joyann) Boose of Machesney Park, IL, Milton (Bea) Boose of Rockford, IL; numerous nieces and nephews.  Steven is preceded in death by his children Scotty and Rhonda; parents, Milton and Delores; niece, Tammy Boose.

A memorial gathering will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2014 in Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services at Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Chapel, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL with a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev.
