Soledad Martinez, 94, of Burbank, IL formerly of Belvidere, IL passed away Wednesday evening, July 29, 2015 in Burbank, IL. Soledad was born September 18, 1920 in San Jose Del Rio, Fresnillo, Zacatecas Mexico, daughter of Mariano Martinez and Antonia Aguilar. She was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her children and grandchildren, she also loved knitting.

Soledad is loved and will be missed by her 5 sons, Ramon Medina, Epitacio Medina, Antonio Medina, Nicolas Medina, Jose Medina; 26 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren, and several other family members and friends.

Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 206 East Front Street, Harvard, IL 60033. Visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m., Friday, July 31, 2015 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 West Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008. Burial will take place at Belvidere Cemetery.
