Shirley L. Wolfe, 93, of Belvidere, died Tuesday, July 2, 2013, in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born August 8, 1919 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota; daughter of Roy M. and Irene C. (Mundt) Donahoe. Graduate of Cathedral High School in Sioux Falls. Married Howard J. Wolfe on November 28, 1942 in Sioux Falls; he died February 23, 2002. Worked for GTE Electric in Genoa for 13 years. Member of St. James Church and the Belvidere Moose Lodge #295. Shirley enjoyed playing bingo, euchre, and loved to gamble. Survivors include her children Karen Richardson of Huntley, Howard J. (Judy) Wolfe of Hiawatha, Iowa, Nancy Love of Belvidere, and Sue (Craig) Drecktrah of Belvidere; grandchildren Jodi (Shane Smith) Love, Matt (Amber) Wolfe, Brad (Michelle) Love, Emily (Nate) Dolezal, Joe Anderson, Jay Anderson; great-grandchildren Reece, Rilynn, Ryken, and Ramsey Dolezal, Taylor and Hayden Wolfe, Aidan and Garrett Love, and Paxton Anderson; sisters Margie Hurley, Patty Fokken; brother Bud (Mary Lou) Donahoe; several nieces and nephews; caregiver Michelle Herman. Predeceased by parents, husband Howard, daughter Kathy Phillips, granddaughter Stacy Baird, great-grandson Rowan Dolezal, son-in-law Dick Richardson, and sisters Marie Albertus, Agnes White.

In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the family for a memorial to be established in Shirley's name.
