Belvidere, IllinoisShirley Ann Culvey, 64, of Belvidere, IL died Friday evening, June 29, 2007 in her home surrounded by her loving family after a brave fight against Pancreatic cancer. Shirley was born August 1, 1942 in Freeport, Illinois the daughter of Harold Baley and Rose Carpenter. Shirley married James I. Culvey on December 30, 1960 in Belvidere, IL. She worked for J.C. Penney's for 16 years until it closed and then retired from Belvidere National Bank after 20 years of service. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Shirley loved her family. She is survived by her husband, Jim Culvey of Belvidere; children, David (Julie) Culvey of Belvidere, Peter (Paula) Culvey of Caledonia, Beth (Dennis) Hissong of Belvidere; grandchildren, Zachary, Nathan, Lindsey, Morgan, Alex, Nicholas; mother, Rose Carpenter; sisters, Donna (Greg) Keegan, Debbie Richardson; brother, Kurt Baley and numerous nieces and nephews.Shirley is preceded in death by her father, Harold Baley and step-mother, Irene Baley.
