Sherry L. Heshelman, 68, of Rockford, IL passed away peacefully, Friday evening, October 31, 2014 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center, Rockford after a long illness.  Sherry was born May 20, 1946 in Rockford, IL the daughter of Edward and Mary Ellen (Erickson) Uphoff.  She married Lawrence Heshelman on September 4, 1965 in Belvidere, IL  Sherry was a graduate of Belvidere High School and Rockford Beauty Academy.  She was a self-employed beautician working from her own home.  Sherry was confirmed at the Evangelical Covenant Church.  She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, knitting and cooking.

Sherry is loved and will be missed by her mother, Mary Ellen Andresen of Rockford; children, Fayellyn Heshelman of Rochester, MN, Lucinda Engebretson of Steven Point, WI, Johnathan (Amy) Heshelman of Naperville, IL, Nannatte Heshelman of Rockford; sister, Linda (Jayson) Jury of Oak Harbor, WA; niece, Jaylynn Jury of Phoenix, AZ; nephew, Jayson (Jamie) Jury, JR of Post Falls, Idaho; 6 grandchildren, Ethan, Katelyn, Ava, Kaia, Kyra and Elsa.  Sherry is preceded in death by her father, Edward and husband, Lawrence.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2014 in Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services at Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Chapel, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL with Rev. Duane Boehm officiating.  Memorial Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.  Cremation rites have taken place.  A memorial will be established and can be given in care of the family.  To light a candle or to share a memory, please visit www.Andersonfcs.com
