Sharon L. Peper, 64, of Belvidere, IL passed away peacefully, Friday evening, December 20, 2013 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Sharon was born January 6, 1949 in Hammond, IN the daughter of Vernon Gene and Wanda Evadena (Zandstra) Kooy. Sharon married Richard E. Peper on October 18, 1996 in Santa Rosa, CA. She was a medical transcriptionist for Rockford Urology. Sharon was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church; she enjoyed crafts, sewing and shopping.Sharon is loved and will be missed by her husband, Richard; children, Michelle (Carey) Brakebush of Portage, WI, Michael (Mindy) Reidenbach of Rochester, IN; grandchildren, Cody, Reagan, Eric, Kylie; brother, Larry Gene Kooy of Lansing, IL. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bruce Allen Kooy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given in care of the church in Sharon's memory.
